Concept design for warehouse management with SAP

Our SAP strategy planning services include for the target system architecture, the target automation concept and target coarse processes. We then generate the User Requirement Specifications to define what is required for successful implementation.

Our SAP concept design services include:

  • Preparation of the URS for warehouse management and material flow control, based on standard SAP EWM and MFS functions
  • Planning of investments and operating costs
  • Project implementation planning (templates, phases, schedule, team)

Methods

The User Requirement Specifications describe the end-to-end process requirements, i.e. from the onset of the processes in SAP ERP (e.g. receipt of a customer order) to completion (e.g. billing customer deliveries).

We use proven methods and tools to ensure that the requirements are fully implemented in the later project phases (business blueprint, implementation, test, acceptance). Each requirement is clearly referenced in a traceability matrix with the aid of our own project execution model, PEM. Furthermore, we use professional tools such as Confluence and Jira to guarantee best possible quality across all project phases.
